Review of Darkman (1990) by Jordan T — 11 Jan 2009
For awhile now I've been wondering as I search through DVDs at WalMart, what the hell is this "Darkman". It looks like a superhero movie, but I've never even heard of it. Finally got a chance to see this and surprised to find Liam Neeson and Frances McDormand star.
This film is rated R and should be very dark with little humor; it was the complete opposite. This was so cheesy it was sickening. Neeson is terrible lol. Explain to me why he's called "Darkman" when he does all of his work during the day! If you're gonna be some kind of vigilante you do it at night! PLUS, the whole thing behind the 99 minute masks were that they lasted longer at night.
So why didn't he wear them AT NIGHT?! Dumbass. That's why this sucks. I think they forgot that little tidbit.
