â??Iâ??ve learned to live with a lot of things.â?? After being denied the opportunity to direct The Shadow, Sam Raimi created a Pulp Hero even more twisted and demented. Fulling embracing the role, Liam Neeson relishes in Darkmanâ??s super powered Rage and still manages to eke out plenty of Frankenstein sympathy.
Look upon this film as the bridge between Evil Dead Raimi and Spider-Man Raimi with its whacked out point-of view shots, its over-exaggerated lady screamers, and beautiful & goofy science montages.
Heaps of scary pulp entertainment. VF.
