Review of Darkest Hour (2017) by Lucas Z — 25 Jan 2018
There is a fine line between honoring the past and glorifying it. This film walks that line carefully and portrays a prime minister that was unliked, yet incredibly needed. Oldman's portrayal of Churchill was beautiful and striking.
There is much to be said of the power of language after watching this film and it is only much more than we allow ourselves to believe.
