Review of Darkest Hour (2017) by Nashid A — 19 Feb 2018
Gary Oldman does a stunning job of portraying Winston Churchill during the crucial time when the Nazi army was about to overrun Western Europe. We see how the British government was ready to negotiate and Churchill's steely resolve not to give in and to take any and all measures to keep fighting, including ordering the Dunkirk rescue.
A superb character study!!
