Gary Oldman is very convincing, utterly believable as Winston Churchill: in fact the whole cast is awesome.
What I lived about the film is how it she'd light on how the personality of Churchill was pivotal in moving from Appeasement to Victory as a policy goal early in the war, and how he drove the Dunkirk evacuation and had to organise that great feat within days / weeks of coming to power, for the job that no one else wanted at the time..!
