Review of Dark Water (2012) by Elaine M — 12 Dec 2008
Dahlia and her daughter Ceci move into a new apartment and try to start a new life, only to become victims of strange occurences which plummet Dahlia into state of constant paranoia and fear, especially on behalf of her daughter, whose imaginary friend Natasha starts causing trouble.
The negative reviews seem kind of harsh- sure it isn't the best or most original horror film, and I admit the original version is probably better, but it's still very watchable, the idea is fun, and the cast (including Tim Roth and John C Reilly) is great, especially Jennifer Connelly who is so good it's almost wrong.
It doesn't make totaly sense, but it's still a decent background horror/drama with some good moments...
