The problem with Dark Water isn't the acting -- Jennifer Connellly and Ariel Gade both give fantastic performances -- the problem lies the writing. The story is bland and predictable and stretched way too thin.
And then this movie offers up an ending that is both unsatisfying and unjustified. This is a forgettable horror film.
