Review of Dark Star (1974) by Jay T — 12 Apr 2010
Low-budget sci-fi at its best. While it's intentionally comic, it also has a pretty decent premise behind it. Interesting to see Dan O'Bannon got the idea for 'Alien' from the rather humble/hilarious alien here (and that the band Pinback gots its name from his character, I believe).
A real field day for sci-fi dorks like me. Very enjoyable.
