Review of Dark Star (1974) by Paladin Of Odin — 03 Dec 2008
I think this film is a lot deeper than people give it credit for.
A combination of retro analog special effects, Human/A.I conflicts and the madness-inducing voids of space.
The last 30 minutes or so are philosophically charged and take on karma, phenomenology, existentialism and furthermore solipsism.
With a rather poetic ending...
