Review of Dark Shadows (2012) by Adam F — 10 Aug 2013
Dark Shadows is one of those movies where it has all the elements of greatness (heck, it had the recipe for greatness - Depp, Burton, Carter, Pfiffer, Green, etc.) but lacks execution. The story is muddy and all the elements are not adhesive to one another leaving it kind of unsatisfying.
By the end, though, when things come around...Dark Shadows at least reaches average matinee fodder status - enjoyable but forgettable.
