Tim Burton, His Missus, Johnny Depp playing a cockney goth, these things turn me off immediately. It's just been done too many times. I begrudingly watched this and am pleased to say that it's quite good.
Yes it does begin with the foundations of every Tim Burton film but there is a lot of the Royal Tenenbaums in there too. There are some funny moments and some good performances too.
