Review of Dark Passage (1947) by Private U — 04 Jul 2007
It might just have been ahead of its time. Bogart and Bacall had reached a sort of comfortable chemistry by this time, so we get to focus almost entirely on the 1st person POV in the first half of the film.
The mystery itself is ultimately kind of underwhelming , but it's one of those times you sit back and enjoy the ride.
