Review of Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) by Alex M — 18 Feb 2014
A Classic Chilling Supernatural Tale Of Revenge, Which Gives Some Great Aspects From Nearly All The Sections Of Film-Making. It Seems Old Fashioned But I Think That's What Gives This It's Subtle Charm And Appeal, And The Quality Of Film-Making For A TV Movie Is Excellently Effective Making It The Best TV Movie Since Steven Spielberg's Duel.
The Performances From It's Somewhat Notable Cast, Is Great, They Give Some Brilliant Performances, The Script Is Great & The Music Helps To Build It's Creepy A Chilling Quality, And Will Probably It's Viewers A Phobia Of Scarecrows For A While. An Excellent Piece Of Work Which Shows They Can't Make Horror's Like This Anymore.
