Review of Dark Country (2009) by Bill B — 31 Dec 2010
Aspires to be a moody thriller, but mixes way too many elements (noir, horror, suspense thriller) to ever truly gel as its own animal.
There's numerous mysteries at work here, but it all ultimately felt like an overlong episode of The Twilight Zone instead of a feature film.
A rental if you're curious, but you've seen better, namely the films that inspired the creators on this one.
