Review of Darfur Now (2007) by Chris W — 21 Jun 2008
An introduction to the genocide in Darfur, told through the eyes of six people--activists, fighters, humanitarians, actors, lawyers--who are doing what they can to change the situation. At times it comes across as an extended news piece, but you really can't fault the intent.
As we begin to see the big picture, it turns into a very moving and inspiring story about how indivicuals can make a difference and how passion is needed in order to make change. A great starting point for those, like me, who are just beginning to wrap our minds against the crisis in the Sudan.
