Review of Darfur Now (2007) by Alysia V — 03 Dec 2008
Not the best or most compelling world crisis documentary I have seen, but it was definitely still worth watching. I think it's always good to watch documentaries/films like this to educate yourself and become aware of the tragedies that are going on in the world around us.
We can't just tune that stuff out & think, "that has nothing to do with me." Don Cheadle was definitely the most well spoken person in this movie and when he talked about the crisis going on in Darfur, I really FELT what he was saying.
So, not the most put-together film, but still one that opens your eyes and touches your heart.
