Review of Dante's Peak (1997) by Nelson (Tony) O — 14 May 2009
When both Dante's Peak and Volcano were released right after eachother. I thought Volcano was the better movie. After revisiting Dante's Peak, I feel They both are pretty entertaining Disaster movies.
Dante's being the more "realistic". Other then Pierce Brosnan Doing what he does best (trying to not act as 007 even though it still come off that way) The main attraction to this film is the visual effects.
This is Digital Domein at it's prime kind of work. All in all, the film is worth a look. so if you see it coming on HBO or something IT would'nt hurt setting the DVR or "tivo".
