Review of Dante's Peak (1997) by Reynard J — 29 Aug 2010
Disaster films were always a box-office earner. This is no exception to Dante's Peak, a volcano action adventure disaster movie about a dormant volcano erupted. The movie can be a little slow and it does takes its time to build up the suspense.
Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton lead the cast pretty good and well. The special effects is top-notch during its time. Although the movie a little under develop on the characters and there are some scenes which is pretty much unbelievable, it has its own entertainment value.
A good disaster flick to watch.
