I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I may actually buy it because it is one of those feel good movies that you find yourself going back to watch over and over again!
I could easily identify with Danny, even though I'm not attached to a completely self absorbed attention whore. But just that he felt so overwhelmed he tried something completely off the wall to escape and to his great surprise (and chagrin) IT WORKED!
That he found happiness and acceptence where he landed, that he'd never found at home, was the divine icing on the cake and the point at which the real beauty of this story begins to unfold.
Even my husband loved this movie and he is EXTREMELY cynical and finds very few movies he honestly enjoys. He mostly tolerates them, for me ~.
