Review of Danny Collins (2015) by Ted W — 15 Apr 2015
A pleasant film aided greatly by sensitive performances from Pacino and Bening. Pacino is a Neil Diamond-esque star doomed to nostalgia tours who receives a wake-up call in the form of a letter from John Lennon, nearly 40 years after it was written.
Interesting tale of reconnecting with ones past, the end is very reminiscent of Say Anything.
