Review of Dangerous Worry Dolls (2008) by Nia E — 16 Jan 2009
Dangerous Worry Dolls is the Charles Band-directed Full Moon film about a women's Detention Center (for hot women only apparently) where the weak are bullied and beat up by the tough, thug supermodel criminals, not to mention harassed by the tough warden and raped in porno films made by the guards.
Boy, life is tough! Things get interesting when the lead heroine's daughter brings her mommy some worry dolls which make your worries go away if you pray to them before you go to bed and put them under your pillow.
Soon, one of the little buggers gets inside the chick's head and then she starts dishing out some revenge. When weighed against other Full Moon films, this one isn't all that great, BUT it wound up being better than I though, with some interesting (and somewhat original) scenes.
The acting is godawful, but that was to be expected. Overall, not too bad. Definitely an amusing time-killer.
