Review of Dangerous Beauty (1998) by Cicely C — 20 Jun 2007
One of my favorite movies. All right, so the beginning is a little weird and corny, but Catherine McCormack gives a flawless performance as the strong, beautiful, and witty heroine, Veronica Franco. Love, intrigue, revenge, accusations of witchcraft, war, sexuality, all in one movie, set in 17th century Venice with gorgeous costumes.
Who can resist?
