Review of Dangerous Beauty (1998) by Rachael M — 28 Sep 2008
I love this movie. It's about Veronica Franco, a Venetian courtesan who cannot openly be with the man she loves and the remarkable life she had. Catherine McCormack is absolutely stunning as a Venetian courtesan and Rufus Sewell's not bad either as Marco Venier.
There's an excellent support cast including Naomi Watts, Oliver Platt and Jacqueline Bisset as the mother who teaches her the tricks of the trade...
