Review of Danger: Diabolik (1968) by Dave K — 13 Jul 2007
Directed by Mario Bava. Music by Ennio Morricone. Made on a shoestring like a lot of Mario Bava's movies. Great 60's aesthetic, great music. Main protagonist is an amoral anarchist master thief with a ultracool hideout and matching jag xke's.
It was intended to be way way over the top, one of the most successful translations of a comic book to film. You will either think it is great or hate it.
