Usually not a fan of musicals but Bjork delivers one of the finest and most creative performances. Her music is so intense and well thought, in perfect harmony with the film scenes and atmosphere. The film itself is devastating.
Von Trier really takes a different look at conventional sentimentality and Hollywood illusion. Bjork's performance totally makes up for Von Trier's clumsiness in some scenes. Amazing film!
