What a brilliant captivating movie~musical! ' Dancer In the Dark' w/ Bjork So many twists with incredible camera work, [all shot on video] A ToTal 'Must SEE 'For EveryONE!
Shocking ending! Whew! Bjork goes blind?
The musical sequences very inteligent & industrial at times. Kind of like the softer feminine side of Trent Reznorlike. You'LL definantly talk about this movie for awhile! (@@,)b.

What I would describe a movie with music, Dancer in the dark presents a very tragic, emotional, and well told story. Bjork's really quite the performer, and even if not conventional in the sense of her acting, she's still quite effective in this story. Lars von Trier's use of a "100 camera technique," among other nonconventional methods, matched with the choice of Bjork for the lead.
