Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by Michael B — 15 Aug 2012
Very emotional drama from Lars von Trier. After seeing Antichrist last year, I was a little unsure of what to expect from this. At first I was a little disinterested and found my attention drifting towards messing around with my iPad rather than the film, but about 15 minutes in the film had my full attention.
The film is heavy on the soul but is beautiful at the same time.
