Review of Dance of the Dead (2008) by Krista B — 15 Oct 2008
:rotten: :rotten: (out of four).
Fun at times and stupid at others, this horror picture offers some well staged frights, but adds nothing really new to a tired genre..

The well-tread zombie flick sets itself during the local high school prom. Of course this is an ideal place for the zombies to feast!.

I like some of the moments here, such as some fun humor and a great scene at the prom when the band plays the Pat Benatar classic "Shadows of the Night." But the movie is mostly routine, using recycled gags and plot from other fulms..
