Review of Damien - Omen II (1978) by Nia E — 14 Nov 2009
Great sequel! Though not as pervasively creepy as its predecessor, Omen 2 successfully continues Damien's story, with a great, great turn from Jonathan Scott-Taylor as the devil child. Lance Henriksen makes a small but brilliantly sinister appearance, and Jerry Goldsmith's score truly elevates the film into something better than most.
The relationship between Damien and his cousin Mark is wonderfully played out, while other secondary characters are a lot more flat. A worthy sequel to a great film!
