Like the first "Dr Who" movie, there isn't much of a similarity between this and the BBC show... though this one suffers more from that problem. Enjoyable low-budget sci-fi cheese, with a couple interesting effects (the Dalek spaceship is pretty cool); but on the whole, it's played too often for laughs, and the impact is lost.
