My favorite H.P. Lovecraft story on film. The movie actually is a combination of two Lovecraft stories (Dagon and the Shadow Over Innsmouth). Some of the CG effects are a little cheap, but the makeup effects are good and Ezra Godden is great in it.

I actually heard that he put a rock in his shoe, so that he wouldn't forget which leg he was limping on after his character injures it in the movie. The old Spanish drunk guy is hard to understand, but that's what the subtitle button on your control is for.

It's a spooky movie and a lot of fun. It's a good movie for a rainy day, too, since once it starts raining in the movie, it doesn't stop. Check it out if you're a horror fan.
