Dad's Army is a major disappointment. the cast is great and could potentially play the roles but script fails them repeatedly. there are funny jokes in there especially with Michael Gambon as Godfrey but they fall down more than they hit home.
it's climax is the point at which this no longer feels like it's source material and I just didn't entirely enjoy it but I will say it wasn't the disaster I was expecting.
