In the middle of the predictable pratfals and tired plot points there is an amusing story with quite a few laughs and a funny, heartwarming ending that despite being cheesy desplays a level of profundity that could and should have been more explored.
Will Ferrell saves "Daddy's Home" from being just another forgettable comedy. Charming and Endearing. 7* (0/10).
