The concept of daddy's home sounds funny and teaming Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg is a great idea. Unfortunately the biggest problem with daddy's home is the rating. If this movie took another step and went for that R rating it would've probably been funnier than what it is.
The movie does have some laughs but never find that edge it's looking for.
