Review of Dabangg (2010) by Sreedhar K — 11 Mar 2011
Dabangg is very deceptive to say the least. Thru an otherwise B-grade parcel (i.e a story with no redeeming value), it delivers some refreshing content such as characterization, casting, acting, music, choreography, humor, technical effects, and clever dialog.
You have to sift thru some rubbish though. Well done Abhinav Kashyap, and bravo to a new Salman, and debutante Sonakshi (who, btw, couldn't have been more aptly named by her parents and has a custom-written song in the movie on the same theme).
