Ignore the trailers making out that this is a comedy, it's not. It's an "indie drama". The acters all do great jobs but Tomei's character is two-dimensional, and we never find out enough about Cyrus to learn what's wrong with him.
It's watchable and doesn't drag but you feel you're only seeing half the story.
