I feel this film got a raw deal with the critics. I think the cast and the trailer may have given the wrong idea of what this film was all about. Taken for what it is I think it is fantastic. The first film I've ever seen that has treated the mothers boyfriend situation in such a revealing way.
It shows both sides of the story while gently exposing the childs selfish intentions. this film is great for so many other reasons.. Very layered. Just great.
