A unique film that manages to convey adventure, action and romance, all through the medium of French rhyming couplets. Cyrano is a great tragic hero, who has dedicated himself to be the best at everything - swordplay, courage, poetry, love - and yet feels himself to be so ugly he can never admit his feeling to the one woman he cares for.
