Review of Cyrano de Bergerac (1990) by Rebecca C — 14 May 2009
Fat soldier/poet bloke with big nose falls in love with his cousin, she falls in love with one of his soldiers, fat bloke helps soldier win her over, then they go to war.
Great adaptation with Gerard Depardieu stealing every scene he's in. It's quick witted, funny & also very sad but very well acted & the locations are excellent.
Also, the music does go into Danny Elfman's Batman theme at one point.
