Review of Cyborg 2 (1993) by Gary M — 04 Feb 2008

Low budget, post-apocalyptic B-Movie, about a cyborg wired with a bomb trying to escape with her human lover to Africa whilst being chased by a pyschotic bounty hunter. The films biggest strength is its run time, it decides to end just when its getting really bad.

Gotta give give it some stars for its cast, Angelina Jolie (when she was hot-hot and not creepy-hot), Elias Koteas (seriously underrated actor, injects what is otherwise a dull character with some personality), Jack Palance (great in anything he does, he can make any line of dialogue sound great or profond even if it doesn't make a bit of goddamn sence) and Billy Drago (who's one of the best actors to play a psychopath, the man needs to be given more work asap).
