Review of Cyberbully (2011) by Paul M — 23 Jun 2012
I laughed more in this movie than anything else. Watching this movie brought more questions to me then it probably should have. Since when do pretty blondes living in upper scale neighborhoods get bullied? Why didn't she just delete her account? Why did this movie even get made? All of these questions were never answered for me.
The ending doesn't even solve the problem. It's a movie preaching about the problems of bullying but the roles just become reversed in the end and the girl getting bullied becomes the bully. The camera work is awful and honestly, the main character is kind of a bitch to everyone anyway.
It's hard to be sympathetic to her. I wish she would have gotten the pill bottle open and ended the movie after 40 minutes.
