Review of Cutter's Way (1981) by Naische F — 15 Jul 2008
Great piece of American cinema. Jeff Bridges thinks that he witnessed a murder and soon his friend, an ex-Vitenam vet (played superbly and convincingly by John Heard, so much better than Gary Sinise's copycat performance from 'Forest Gump') gets in on it and claims that it is the work of a high-society type.
There are a lot of pre-Lebowski moments here minus the direct intentional humour, but still effective nonetheless! The investigation and the plot-twists are engaging from start to finish with a finale that will leave you breathless!
