I don't know if this knew story element introduced in the franchise will prove a positive addition to canon,but the story is actually quite refreshing. I have one screaming reservation though: please-oh-please BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL MODEL FOR CHUCKY.
This new one just seems so cheap and ironically... plastic.
