Review of Cujo (1983) by Alexander C — 04 Nov 2012
REALLY?!! Look I know I'm late to the game, but even though I'm a horror/thriller fanatic, I never had an interest in seeing CUJO. Finally, it was on TV and I thought I'd check out the classic, which is soooo stupid.
Seriously, the performances are good and it's cool how it starts with all these everyday happening seeming ominous. I'm sure that was unique at the time. But, we're people really this misinformed about rabies too? Come on! The entire movie revolves around stationary people screaming incessantly at a relentless, rabid St. Bernard. Not even a scary dog, even while rabid, I just wanted to clean his muzzle.
I'll leave this movies to those who love it. It's definitely not for me, and I LOVE Dee Wallace.
