No questions are properly answered; in fact more questions are raised! This is a horrible prequel. The acting was wretched and corny, the thrill and desperation of the first two movies was thrown out the window in favor of a paranoid cliche story about "big brother's" observations.
This is a bad film, watch it if you're in the mood for a gory comedy.
