Review of Cube Zero (2004) by Michael P — 22 Apr 2015
In an attempt to innovate, Cube Zero destroys everything the other two films had going for them. It loses the claustrophobia by focusing on a more open environment. The mystery is absent here also because they decided to answer all the questions from previous films.
Without those Cube Zero feels more like an action movie than anything. But there are still some good philosophical elements here, such as the comments on religion, and the morality issues. On its own the film is solid, but it fails as part of the series.
42/100.
