Review of Cube (1998) by Ben K — 18 Mar 2013
Still one of my favorite movies. Made brilliant use of an extremely limited budget, mainly by using a set as small as a single room to convincingly portray a much bigger structure. Sufficiently talented actors with interesting and diverse roles and enough character development complete what could have otherwise been a really average uneventful B-movie.
Given the budget, it may be a bit of a surprise, but even the special effects hold up. The pacing is a tad slow for the action-lovers amongst us, but overall it's a movie I fully recommend to everyone that likes anything in the genre.
