Review of Cube (1998) by Cameron M — 04 Feb 2014
Cube has a really cool concept that keeps the movie intriguing. You want to know what is behind this labyrinth and the feeling of claustrophobia is well done. Unfortunately the acting is not as good, the characters are one dimensional and some of them don´t have much purpose.
In addition, the film has an ambiguous ending, which in some movies works great for the interpretation of the audience, but in this case it felt disappointing because of all the previous build up. It is an entertaining film nevertheless, but it didn´t live up to it´s own premise,.
