Review of Cuban Fury (2014) by Ernest E — 26 Feb 2014
Considering I have little to no interest in dancing, I had a surprisingly good time with Cuban Fury. Most of the big laughs come from Nick Frost and Chris O'Dowd (the real star of the film), competing for the affections of their new boss, played by Rashida Jones.
This is so much the case that at times I even forgot that the film was about dancing at all. Olivia Coleman and Kayvan Novak also provides some good moments as the supporting cast members. Overall Cuban Fury was good fun, although it lacked the real heart that all great comedies need to graduate to the next level.
