Review of Crumb (1995) by Aaron A — 20 Feb 2009
Get a glimpse into the world of the very eccentric, Lowbrow Artist, Robert Crumb. Creator of "Devil Girl" and illustrator of several "Zap Comics", Crumb is an introverted individual who lived during the "hippie era" and wanted nothing to do with it - even after being prompted by hipsters like Janice Joplin.
Crumb preferred only to surround himself in his own "sketched" world. That's ok; years later a pile of his sketchbooks get him a house in France. If you love Lowbrow Art, you'll love this documentary.
